PREMIUM TOWABLE INSPECTION

The premium inspection includes all the items of the essential safety inspection plus:

ROOF

Identify roof material

Inspect and evaluate condition of all joints and seals, roof vents, plumbing vent covers, roof vent covers, skylights, antenna and any other items mounted on the roof

Inspect and evaluate condition of air conditioner shroud and heat exhaust coils

Inspect for signs of previous damage/repairs

SIDEWALLS AND END CAPS

Identify wall surface type

Inspect and evaluate the condition of the sidewalls, end caps, doors, windows and cargo access doors

Inspect and evaluate any damage, delamination and discoloration

Inspect for signs of previous damage/repairs

SLIDEOUTS

Fully extend and retract slideout and evaluate operation

Inspect and evaluate the condition of the roof, seals and sweeps

Identify slideout drive system

Inspect and evaluate topper fabric (if installed)

Inspect and evaluate the attached wiring harness underneath slideout

Inspect for signs of previous damage/repairs

DOORS

Identify type of door/material

Inspect and evaluate door(s) operation

Inspect and evaluate lock and deadbolt

Inspect and evaluate steps and grab bar

Inspect for signs of previous damage/repairs

AWNINGS

Identify operational type of awning

Fully extend and retract awning and evaluate operation

Inspect and evaluate frame and latching mechanism

Inspect and evaluate condition of awning fabric

RUNNING GEAR

Inspect and evaluate condition of running gear

Inspect and evaluate condition of frame

Identify number of axels and type

Visually inspect for signs of rust or damage

Identify brake type

Visually inspect and evaluate U-bolts, leaf springs, shackles, spring equalizers, shock absorbers and suspension bolts

Inspect and evaluate frame for signs of rust, damage or signs of oil stains

HITCH AND STABALIZING SYSTEMS

Identify type and style of hitch system

Identify type of leveling system

For travel trailer: inspect and evaluate the tongue jack, coupler, safety chains, stabilizer, weight distribution system, sway control system, test and evaluate jacks, inspect for leaks or mechanical issues

For Fifth Wheel: Identify type of front landing gear and rear stabilization system and leveling system, test and evaluate jacks, inspect for leaks or mechanical issues

GENERATOR

Identify brand, model and serial number

Start and operate the generator

Verify hours of operation

Check fuel and oil levels

Inspect and evaluate condition of generator and hoses

Test voltage output under load

INVERTER

Identify brand and model number

Inspect and evaluate condition of inverter, cables, wiring and fuses

Test voltage output under load

FRESH WATER SYSTEM

Inspect and evaluate the fresh water and city water connections

Visually inspect fresh water tank for leaks

Test water pump

WASTE WATER SYSTEMS

Operate and inspect both plumbing systems for leaks under sinks, shower, around toilet and drain lines

Operate and evaluate both drain valves

Visually inspect black and gray water tanks for leaks

Verify drain cap is in place and will hold waste water

WATER HEATER

Identify brand, model and type

Inspect and evaluate condition of water heater

Test operation on all heat sources

Inspect and evaluate condition of burner assembly

Test and evaluate pressure relief valve

FURNACE

If accessible identify model and serial number

Inspect and evaluate condition of furnace

Operate and evaluate for warm air from all vents

REFIRGERATOR

Identify brand, model and type

Operate on all sources

Identify serial and model numbers and verify if recall has been issued or completed

Test both refrigerator and freezer temperature

Inspect and evaluate condition of interior and exterior

Inspect and evaluate back cooling coils

STOVE/COOKTOP           

Identify brand model and type

Test ignition of all burners and oven

Inspect and evaluate condition of burner grate

Inspect and evaluate condition of oven

Operate and evaluate exhaust fan

DISHWASHER (if present)

Operate unit to verify operational

Inspect and evaluate condition of racks and wash bars

Inspect and evaluate condition of hoses and hose connections

AIRCONDITIONER(S)

Perform cooling efficiency test on each unit (Delta T)

Inspect and evaluate condition of air conditioner and filter

Inspect and evaluate thermostat for heat/cool/fan speeds

MICROWAVE/CONVECTION OVEN

Identify brand, model, type and output wattage

Inspect and evaluate condition of unit

Verify rack/turntable is installed

WASHER/DRYER (if equipped)

Visually inspect interior and exterior condition of unit(s)

Run a wash and rinse cycle to verity operation

Operate the dryer to verify operation

Inspect and evaluate the exterior condition of dryer exhaust vent

Visually inspect for leaks

IN HOUSE VACUUM STSTEM (if equipped)

Identify brand and model number

Test system for operation

Inspect and evaluate condition of hose and attachments

FIREPLACE (if equipped)

Visually inspect and evaluate condition of unit

Operate that all heat settings, lights and fan speeds operate

CEILING MOUNTED FANS

Visually inspect and evaluate condition of unit(s)

Operate and evaluate fan covers and fan speeds

INTERIOR

Visually inspect ceilings for loose panels, discoloration or stains, missing or damaged trim work and condition of vents and skylights

Operate and evaluate all 12 volt light fixtures

Operate and evaluate all 120 volt light fixtures

Inspect all interior walls for loose panels, water damage, stains or discoloration, soft spots, holes, damaged trim work and previous repairs

Inspect and evaluate all windows for operation and damage

Inspect all flooring for loose panels, stains or discoloring, water damage and previous repairs

Inspect and evaluate kitchen and bathroom sinks for working faucet, leaks at stem, water damage under sink, p-trap holds water, sink holds water, both hot and cold water working and type and condition of sink

Inspect and evaluate toilet(s) for water leaks, indication of previous damage/repair, bowl holds water and mounting problems

Inspect and evaluate shower/tub for condition of shower, stains, water damage, leaks, working faucet, both hot and cold water available and signs of any previous damage/repairs

FURNITURE

Inspect and evaluate chairs, sofas and beds for fabric tears, discoloration or stains, signs of excess wear, water damage and signs of previous damage/repairs

Inspect and evaluate tables, dressers, cabinets and counter tops for damage/scratches, wood rot, signs of excessive wear and previous damage/repairs

TV/RADIO/BLUE RAY PLAYER/DVD PLAYER/ VCR

Identify brand and model numbers

Inspect and evaluate if units work properly, they are clean, maintained and mounted securely
